Skype

A variety of programs can be used to make online communications possible, but we recommend use of Skype.  Like similar voice over internet protocol (voip) programs Skype is free for you to use.  At this point in time, however, Skype offers several additional benefits that make the program more appealing compared to its voip counterparts.  A primary benefit of Skype is that communications are encrypted, so there is a higher level of security provided.  Another benefit is that Skype offers high quality video calls if users have the required hardware.  While we are open to utilizing other programs to suit your preference, we encourage you to consider use of Skype.

E-mail

E-mail is the only online communication medium that Skype does not provide.  Encrypted email is what we recommend and ideal for security purposes.  However, we realize that the process of encrypting e-mail can be somewhat more complicated and daunting.  We are open to exchanging unencrypted e-mail if you prefer it, otherwise we can explore encryption options together.
